Three Tall Women

This is a complex and fascinating play that afforded an interesting design challenge. To find both individuality of character as well as unity of design, to capture both  appropriate period style as well as the main character’s stages of life…all of it was both tricky and quite fun to work out. The iciness of “A” was an integral theme seen reflected in both the set and her costumes. I was particularly proud of my Act II trio of “A”s in blues and was pleased with my skillfully orchestrated intermission  transformation.
